Councillor Roles & Responsibilities

The role of the Parish Council is to represent the interests of the whole community. It is a part of local government supporting the democratic process. Local Councils provide a focus for the community to identify concerns and projects, and endeavour to solve them locally themselves.

During the Annual Parish Council meeting held on 15th May 2023, it was resolved for elected members to serve on the following Working Parties:

Playing Field & Pavilion – Cllr McNally, Cllr Smith & Cllr C.Penney

Fleet Parish Council Grant Applications – Cllr Donley, Cllr Favell & a volunteer from the Parish 

Planter Maintenance & War Memorial – Cllr E.Penney & Cllr Scholes plus volunteers
