To all Members of Fleet Parish Council

You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of Fleet Parish Council to be held at the Community Hall, Hargate Close, Fleet on Monday 18th July 2022 which will commence at 7:10 pm the Agenda for the Meeting is set out below:

Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a public forum for a maximum of 10 minutes when members of the public may be invited to ask questions or make comments.  Should they wish to make a comment during the meeting, this will be at the Chairman’s discretion.  

There will be 10 minutes which will be set aside for the meeting to receive reports from elected members of Lincolnshire Council and South Holland District Council.

•   Email from SHDC to join their Love Your Parks week running 25th July – 5th August
•   Invitation to join the Spalding Flower Parade due to be held Saturday 6th May 2023
•   Email from LCC Highways with proposal for speed reduction along Lowgate North &  Roman Bank

7.   Actions List - To discuss completion of outstanding items and agree timescales – Clerk to lead

•   Request for consideration for Drop kerbs on corner of Eastgate Gdns & Eastgate and another on corner of Burgess Drive & Eastgate.
•   Public Space Protection Order – Application of PSPO to enforce dogs on leads whilst using the playing field – Review response received 
•   Repeat request for not suitable for HGV signs to be erected – Update from Cllr Coupland

8.   Neighbourhood Watch Scheme – Proposal to set up the scheme within the parish – Cllr McNally to lead

9.   Speed Watch Initiative - To review any information gathered from the interactive speed sign & Police Speed Camera – Cllr McNally to Lead

•   Update on Proposal for speed limits to be reduced and other safety management measures, Eastgate, Hall Gate & Church Lane

•   Proposal to hold annual ‘Fete’ on the Fleet Playing field.  First to be held on Sunday 11 June 2023

13.   Proposal to move from bi-monthly meeting to monthly 

14.   To Note Date of Next Meeting – Monday 19th September 2022.  Date for a Meet & Greet Public Forum TBC
