To all Members of Fleet Parish Council

You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of Fleet Parish Council to be held at the Community Hall, Hargate Close, Fleet on Monday 16th January 2023.  There will be a public forum prior to the Council meeting.  If there are no members of the public present, the meeting will begin at 7.00 p.m.

Should they wish to make a comment during the meeting, this will be at the Chairman’s discretion.  

There will be 10 minutes which will be set aside before the meeting to receive reports from elected members of Lincolnshire Council and South Holland District Council.

2.   To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations in respects of pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests in Agenda items.

a) Observations following completion of Risk Assessment for Pavilion & Playing Field

•   Grant Application Working Party in respect of Redevelopment of the Playing Field

a) Cllr Donley to provide update on land registry and planning application for Playing Field

b) Update on prices to appoint independent Civil Engineer to draw plans for required works on playing field/hard standing

c) SHDC Prosperity Fund Update (if any)

•   Planter Maintenance & War Memorial Working Party

a) Update on quotes for labour for laying gravel and membrane to seating area in War Memorial.

b) Observations following asset inspections

7.   Review Tenders in preparation for 2023 Grass cutting for playing field and amenity areas

8.   Correspondence Received:

•   Email from Parishioner asking if a Fleet Calendar for 2024 being available to purchase
•   Email from Parishioner confirming Fist Aid/Defib training at the Church on Saturday 4th Feb at 10am
•   Email from Parishioner requesting donation of a bench in memory of popular Parishioner who sadly passed away.   

9.   Actions List - To discuss completion of outstanding items and agree timescales – Clerk to lead

•   Update on work for Drop kerbs on corner of Eastgate Gdns & Eastgate and another on corner of Burgess Drive & Eastgate.
•   Public Space Protection Order – Application of PSPO to enforce dogs on leads whilst using the playing field – Review response received 
•   Update on removal of bollards and resurfacing work to island by school

10.   Speed Watch Initiative - To review any information gathered from the interactive speed sign & Police Speed Camera – Cllr McNally to Lead

•   To arrange cover/support for Speed Watch should Cllr McNally be unable to manage
•   Update on feedback following Proposal for speed limits to be reduced and other safety management measures, Eastgate, Hall Gate & Church Lane – Cllr Coupland
•   Messages from parishioner regarding the speed limits on Church End. It is currently a 60, this is considered too fast and dangerous for this road – Cllr Stockford
•   Fleet Parish road/path closures or works. Keeping our parish informed – Cllr Stockford
